FreeSpecialist coin-op and game room auction houses
Some auction houses are known for coin-operated machines and game room collectibles. Morphy Auctions in Denver, Pennsylvania runs regular coin-op and automatic machine sales, with antique slot machines, arcade machines and vending machines. Victorian Casino Antiques (VCA) in Las Vegas holds large sales of slot machines, jukeboxes, arcade games and gambling memorabilia. Showtime Auction Services in Michigan is known for its antique toy, advertising and coin-op auctions, and Rich Penn Auctions in Iowa runs coin-op and advertising sales with plenty of vintage machines.
Collector car auctions sell game room pieces too. Mecum Auctions and Barrett-Jackson often include jukeboxes, pinball machines, arcade cabinets and vintage gas pumps alongside the cars. Heritage Auctions, Bonhams and other general fine-art houses sometimes offer rare machines and coin-op pieces in their sales.
Online auction platforms
Many machines are sold online. eBay is still a big market for pinball, arcade and slot machines with local pickup only. LiveAuctioneers, Invaluable, Proxibid, HiBid and AuctionZip host thousands of auctioneers, including estate sales and business liquidations with game rooms, arcades and bars. GovDeals and Public Surplus often list vending machines and equipment from schools, cities and government agencies. Most of these listings say the buyer must arrange pickup, which is where we come in.
Arcade closings, liquidations and estate sales
When an arcade, family entertainment center, bar or bowling alley closes, its machines are often sold by a local auctioneer in a single sale with a short removal window. Estate sales of collectors can include dozens of games at once. We pick up multiple lots from the same sale so your machines can ship together.
How to get your auction win picked up
As soon as you win, send us the auction house name and address, your lot numbers, the pickup deadline and the delivery address in the quote form, and upload the listing photos. Pay your invoice and ask the auction house how they release items to a third-party carrier; some need a signed release form or an authorization email from you. Our driver preps each machine at pickup, wrapping and securing it for the trip.
