Jukeboxes are among the most beloved pieces of American coin-op history — and among the most challenging items to ship safely. Whether you've just purchased a vintage 1950s Wurlitzer bubble top, a classic Seeburg 100, or a modern digital unit from a bar auction, we have the experience to move it across the country without drama.
Like all coin-op machines we ship, jukeboxes must be palletized before we can pick them up. A properly wrapped and strapped jukebox on a pallet is the safest, most cost-effective way to move these machines via freight — and we'll give you everything you need to know to prep it correctly.

Vintage Bubble Jukeboxes
Classic 1940s–1950s bubble top machines including Wurlitzer 1015, Rock-Ola 1426, and more. These are irreplaceable — we treat them accordingly.
Wall Box & Bar Models
Seeburg, AMI, and Rockola wall boxes and countertop models. Compact but valuable — properly packed on a pallet for safe transit.
1960s–1980s Jukeboxes
Wurlitzer, Seeburg, and Rowe/AMI jukeboxes from the rock-and-roll era. Vinyl-front, 45 RPM, and CD-format machines all accepted.
Modern Digital Jukeboxes
TouchTunes, NSM, and other digital or internet-connected jukeboxes. We handle contemporary bar and commercial units with the same care.
How to Prepare Your Jukebox for Shipping
Secure All Moving Parts
Remove or lock any 45 RPM records, CDs, or trays. Tape down tonearms, platter mechanisms, and coin mechs so they can't shift in transit.
Protect the Glass & Plastics
Wrap all glass panels and colored plastic with bubble wrap, then cover the entire machine in cardboard. Pay extra attention to bubble tops and curved plastics — these are fragile.
Wrap in Mobile Wrap
After cardboard, apply several tight layers of stretch wrap around the entire machine to hold everything in place and protect from moisture.
Secure to a Pallet
Place the wrapped jukebox on a standard 48" x 40" pallet. Use ratchet straps or metal banding to firmly secure it to the pallet — at least two straps crossing over the top.
Center the Machine
Balance the weight evenly on the pallet. An off-center load can tip during freight handling. Most full-size jukeboxes weigh 200–400 lbs — proper balance is critical.

Does my jukebox need to be on a pallet?
Yes — all coin-op machines we ship must be palletized. A standard 48" x 40" pallet works for most jukeboxes. If your machine is wider (like some vintage models), you can tie two pallets together side by side.
Can you ship a jukebox to a residential address?
Absolutely. We offer residential pickup and delivery with liftgate service available. Just let us know when you request a quote and we'll include liftgate pricing.
What's the best insurance option for a vintage jukebox?
We strongly recommend the optional $10,000 insurance coverage for just $25. Given that many vintage jukeboxes are worth $1,000–$5,000+, this coverage is essential peace of mind. Insurance is handled through our partner FreightWire.
Can you ship a non-working jukebox?
Yes. A machine doesn't need to be operational to ship it — it just needs to be properly packaged and secured to a pallet. We ship jukeboxes in all conditions, from project machines to fully restored showpieces.
